The Website Chatbot module lets you add AI-powered chat agents to your website that can answer questions, capture leads, and assist visitors 24/7.
Overview
The Website Chatbot Overview page shows your active chatbot agents, recent conversations, and usage metrics at a glance.
Agents
The Agents page is where you create and manage your website chat agents:
- Create new chat agents with specific roles (sales, support, onboarding, etc.)
- Configure agent instructions, personality, and knowledge sources
- Set escalation rules for when to hand off to a human
- Enable or disable agents on your website
Set Up a Chatbot Agent
- Navigate to Website Chatbot → Agents
- Click Create Agent
- Define the agent's name, role, and conversation flow
- Upload or link knowledge sources (FAQs, product docs, etc.)
- Configure escalation rules
- Click Deploy to make the agent live on your website
Start with a simple FAQ agent, then add more specialized agents for sales and support as you learn what your visitors need.
Usage
The Usage page tracks your chatbot performance:
- View conversation volume and trends over time
- See average response times and resolution rates
- Track visitor satisfaction scores
- Monitor token usage and costs
- Identify frequently asked questions to improve your knowledge base
Adding the Chatbot to Your Website
Once your agent is configured, you can embed the chatbot on your website by copying the provided embed script into your site's HTML. The chatbot widget will appear in the bottom corner of your website and connect visitors to your configured agents.
